Kateryna Bondarenko and Katarzyna Piter moved into the final of BNP Paribas Poland Open; not without problems though.

After an easy first set, won without losing a game, there seemed to be no sign that things were going to change. All it took was for them to make a few more mistakes and Oksana Kalashnikova to take some weight off of a tired Ekaterine Gorgodze’s shoulders, and the score started to look much better for the Georgians.

The most important thing – from the point of view of Polish fans – is that the Ukrainian and the Pole regained focus and belief in the final happy ending. They won 6:0, 1:6, 10-7 and will face Anna Danilina (Kazachstan) and Lidziya Marozava (Belarus).

At the press conference Katarzyna Piter didn’t hide how happy she was about moving to the finals and spoke about her passion that motivated her every day. Meditation and yoga help her as well and what gives her energy is music – from Alicia Keys to hip-hop – depending on the mood.
