Women’s World Tennis
returns to Poland
Main singles draw will include 32 players from the WTA world ranking. There will also be 16 doubles pairings and 16 qualifiers fighting for the spot in the main draw.
The qualifying competition will be held 17-18 July, whereas the main draw will kick off July 19. Singles and doubles finals will be played on July 25.
This year the total prize pool is 235.238 USD.
The event will take place on the grounds of Arka Tennis Club, which has previously hosted polish teams in international ties. The facility is located in an incredibly appealing forest reserve by the sea, within close proximity of the city centre.
The organizers have prepared a lot of attractions and surprises for tennis fans and a zone designated for children.
The WTA 250 tournament in Gdynia is one of thirty such events played annually around the world. Poland is now a part of this honorable group, which places our country back on the tennis map.
